Villa Mathis Umalas is a luxury villa resort located in the natural surroundings of Umalas - Kerobokan. It is about 45 minutes from the airport and 10 to 15 minutes to Seminyak and Kuta areas. La Villa Mathis Bali offers a total of 22 Deluxe Rooms housed in five 4- and 5-bedroom villas. Each villa can also be rented exclusively, or several villas can be "privatised" for larger families or groups of friends. In addition, all villas can be rented together for up to 52 persons. This is ideal for weddings or corporate retreats.
Each villa at La Villa Mathis Umalas is surrounded by beautiful gardens and offer a refined and warm atmosphere. The bedrooms are at least 50m2 each. Traditional Balinese materials are used, such as alang-alang grass roofs, teak wood and Batik drapes, whilst the rooms are equipped with modern or ethnic furnishings. Each villa features a private pool with large gardens and some have a mezzanine floor to accommodate a child. Other room amenities are air-conditioning, safe, umbrellas, bathrobes, hairdryer and bottled water.
Other facilities at Villa Mathis include mountain bikes, afternoon tea, assistance with shipping formalities for purchase of furniture, luggage storage, meeting and transfers by private vehicle to and from the airport and any other place in Bali, wide choice of activities and guided tours in English, babysitting, scooter and car rental with or without drivers (charges apply to some facilities).
The Ephemeral Restaurant is a unique concept, providing meals at different locations throughout the guests` stay. The Baroque Nights Restaurant is located above the spa and evokes the era of the Italian Baroque with its decor. Both dining options cater to a range of tastes, from local favorites to international fine dining. The property also offers cooking classes with prior reservation.
The spa provides treatments and massages using traditional Balinese ancestral methods or "Jamu cures". Furthermore, there is a free shuttle service to Seminyak and free wireless internet connection is available throughout this exclusive Bali villa property, a member of Secret Retreats.
