Location & General Description

The Menjangan is located on the north west coast of Bali and it takes usually about 3 1/2 hours by car from the airport. The journey takes the visitor past rice terraces and local villages. There are two main routes to reach the resort. The first route is through the mid west of Bali. Travelling through Bedugul, Munduk and Seririt where the main scenery is mountains, lakes & rice terraces. The second path is along the west coast of Bali, past Tabanan, Negara and Cekik. The main attractions are the west coast beaches and the small towns with their traditional culture and open hospitality.
The Menjangan Resort, a member of Lifestyle Retreats, offers 12 Deluxe Rooms and 2 Suites set around the Monsoon Lodge, the heart of the resort. Here is also the idyllic pool with jacuzzi. The exclusive 3-bedroom Menjangan Residence is located in a secluded area, overlooking the bay. Guests will enjoy privacy and the magnificent views across the bay from each rooms and the balconies.
The Bali Tower Restaurant is a one of a kind building. Made from 5 incredible logs, 33 meters long and 80 cm in diameter, the tower reaches above the tree line and offers excellent views across the bay and forest. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner or for a quiet drink. The menu offers a balance of western favorites and traditional Balinese food. Built out across the water, the Sentigi Beach Restaurant offers 180 degree panoramic views across the Sentigi Bay. Perfect for a casual barbecue with friends and family or a great spot to stop for a drink.
After exploring the forest or any of the many activities offered by the resort, guests of The Menjangan Resort can relax around the swimming pool or enjoy a massage in their rooms or at the dedicated spa area.
The resort is surrounded by the West Bali National Park, covering a 284ha area of the park. Within the area, more than 80 species of birds, reptiles and mammals roam freely, undisturbed by human activities. The monsoon forest encompassed within the resort boasts more than 20 species of trees, while 16 species of mangrove can be found along the beach. All of these can be explored easily through a forest trekking, bird watching, adventure biking, horseback riding and kayaking package. Also try diving at the resort`s own private bay to discover the 38 species of fish and 85 species of marine invertebrae. And if this is not enough, Menjangan Island - one of the best diving & snorkeling sites in Bali - is only 20 minutes away by boat. All of the outdoor activities are professionally organized and feature high-quality equipment and experienced guides and interpreters.
