Kuta hotels and Tuban hotels in Bali are some of the most popular resort destinations on the island. The area stretches from the Bali International Airport to the south until Kuta beach. To many visitors, the neighborhoods of Tuban, Kuta and Legian are not really clearly defined, and most refer to all of these different sections as "Kuta". The attractions are bustling nightlife, the place for Kuta shopping in Bali and a myriad of hotels and restaurants.
Kuta, with its famous stretch of beach and hundreds of shops, restaurants, bars and nightspots, has been the "center of the action" in Bali for many years. It offers many smaller and moderately priced Kuta hotels, bed and breakfast inns, as well as some larger, international standard properties, several of which are located along the beach. Walking from the beach road in a southerly direction, towards Tuban, you will first reach Kuta Square with the familiar and ever popular Matahari Department Store. In the same area, one can find great deals for branded clothing, such as Levis, Polo, Prada, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana. The Kuta Art Market, just a bit further on, is a good place to bargain for local crafts, souvenirs, paintings, T-shirts, bags, sandals, sarongs and other casual wear. Continuing in this direction, more shops and restaurants are to be found in the Kuta Centre.
Tuban, located just south of Kuta and therefore sometimes also called South Kuta, is a more relaxed, family orientated area, offering an excellent range of superb Tuban hotels and resorts. Waterbom Park is a brilliant idea for a day-out with the whole family, whilst on the opposite side of the road, visitors will come across the Discovery Shopping Mall with the Centro Lifestyle Department Store at its center. A wide variety of shops, restaurants and coffee houses can be found in this sprawling shopping Mecca. With its beachfront location, this is a good area to watch the sunset after an exhilarating shopping spree. - Other options for nightlife and restaurants are concentrated along Jalan Legian, as well as in the lanes connecting this well-known main street with the Kuta beach road. Some of these areas are already part of Legian.
Bali villa rentals are not yet as widespread in Kuta and Tuban as in other locations, but we will add vacation rentals as they become available.
